For $5, you can purchase a restaurant reservation from any of our partnered restaurants and save more when dining there. 3. How can umYum help me?
If you are someone who likes getting value for your money as well as eating good food, the more you dine at one of our partnered restaurants, the more you save! Diners – General Questions 4. What is the difference between yum, yummier and yummiest?
These three words define our sites rating system. With yummiest being the most highly rated and yum the least highly rated. 5. How much are reservations?
Reservations are $5. 6. Can someone in my party receive a full menu percentage discount while others the prix-fixe menu discount?
No. You have to choose which discount all members of your party prefer when making the reservation. 7. What is the maximum number of people that I may book a reservation for?
Reservations cater for up to 10 people. The discounts for reservations vary from a 15-35% savings off your entire bill to a specially created Prix-fixe menu. 8. Are there any coupons?
No. We have eliminated the use of coupons to keep things simple. 9. How do I know my reservation has been confirmed?
Once payment has been made, an email confirmation will be sent to you. 10. Is there a limit to the number or reservations I can purchase?
No, there is no limit. 11. Will everyone in my party get the percentage discount?
Discounts apply to the reservation size. Restaurants reserve the right to apply discounts to the reservation size, if parties larger than the reservation size show up at the time of sitting. 12. Do percentage discounts include alcohol?
Yes, it does. However, in Boston the laws require alcohol to be excluded. 13. Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes you may cancel your reservation if done at least 2 hours before the reservation time. The money will automatically be refunded to your credit card. Restaurant 14. I have questions about my restaurant joining, whom should I contact?

Deals can be posted by going to the bottom of our page and clicking on the business signup link and following the instructions accordingly. 16. Can I change the deal offering, or fixed menu?
Both can be changed at any time but previous confirmed deal reservations must be honored. 17. How many deals can I post?
Currently, you can post a percentage discount off the full menu and one prixe-fix menu discount. 18. What is the difference between a fixed menu and a percentage discount, can I offer both?
A fixed menu discount is a pre-selected menu that you come up with and provide for, while a percentage discount is a discount off the entire bill. Yes, you may list both, but can only offer one per reservation. 19. How do I calculate the number of tables to list?
We have estimated each table to hold 2 diners. For example, if one of your tables can cater to a group of four, such tables can be considered two tables. 20. How do I change the number of spaces available?
This can be done by logging in and going to the reservations tab. After which, you would select the date and time and change the number of free spaces accordingly. 21. What do I do if I was overbooked?
You can decrease the number of tables available to us via the reservation section. 22. How do I complain about an unfair, inappropriate or offensive Shared Experience?
Feel free to email us at umyum@umYum.com and we will take action on a case by case basis. 23. How do I know a customer has made a reservation at my restaurant?
Once a reservation has been confirmed, you will receive an email with a code as well as details of that reservation. This can also be viewed under the reservation section by clicking on a date. 24. How do I know what kind of deal they have reserved?
This information can be viewed under the reservation section by clicking on the date of the reservation. Under each reservation you will see they type of reservation booked. 25. How do I see all the active reservations for a specific time period?
